We are a two man team, and aside from a one week project to get our feet wet with Unity, this is our first finished game and entry to the Beginners Jam #3! We implemented what we could in the given timeframe, but of course many features that we would've loved to show of needed to be cut.
But however that may be - we truly learned a ton and wouldn't want to have missed this experience.
Thanks to everybody who trys out the game, let alone finish it! Have fun!

vangers one for the road?
Loving the visuals
Well made game, feels a bit like "Hyper light Drifter". Nice visuals, movement feels good, a bit more feedbacks would be apreciated, I could not tell when, or even if I was taking damage. Otherwise a great prototype!
Oh, and the boss was a really nice touch, a bit too much on the "scaled up normal enemy" side, but hey, it's a game jam game right?

Really interesting that you felt like there was missing feedback when the player gets hit (considering there's some player flicker, a hurt sound and screen shake). I guess it's all just a little too subtle, I'll keep that in mind!
So true with the boss, it was jammed in the last second :p.
I played it again to make sure, actually now I know it, it stands out a bit more. Guess I was looking for some king of hp meter, didn't notice my loot score decreasing. Maybe a colored flicker on the player would be more noticeable in the heat of battle?
Anyway, still really enjoyable, even on the second playthrough! You did a really good job!

The graphics are very nice, so are the controls. One suggestion is to add more instructions on what to do or what the aim is. But other than that its very good. Well done
Wow, the game looks amazing.
A bit more work like bosses and a clear goal and I could see this flesh out to a full game.
